I am "Buddy" . I am a Jack Russell/Rat Terrier Mix. I was rescued once by Blue HAWK and adopted to a really nice older lady, who stayed home and let me sit in her lap all day. A few weeks ago she was admitted to a nursing home and the family was going to take me to the pound, so Blue HAWK rescued me again. I get very protective of who ever is taking care of me, but otherwise am fun, fetch, dance on my hind legs, and am house broken. I seem to like cats and other dogs okay too. |

Hi!! I'm known as "Cookie" ! I am another abandoned pet left at Petsmart when Blue HAWK happened to be there, thank goodness. I think that I am a Labradoodle which is a cross between a Standard Poodle and a Labrador Retriever. I am a young and very energetic female. |

I am an American Staffordshire Terrier named "Romeo" ! I am so precious. I was abandoned on the S. side of OKC. I have such a nice foster family who rescued me and have taken good care of me but I need a forever home! |

I am "Jade" and I am a female Pit/Boxer Mix! I was brought to Blue HAWK after being abandoned in the country. I am very happy to be alive and love everybody. All that's missing for me is a home of my own! |

Our names are "Holly" and "Jolly". We were found in downtown Norman. Blue HAWK tried to find our owners, but no one answered the ad or flyers. We've been tested for heartworms (negative), spayed, and are up-to-date on our vaccinations. We are very friendly, lovable boxer mixes, maybe some pit too. We are a beautiful pair, very smart and trainable and would love to stay together. A loving home with a nice backyard to RUN would be really awesome! . |

I'm "Cocoa"!! I am a medium-sized (about 30 pounds) chocolate brown female. I've been told that I am very sweet and smart as well as a gentle girl. I can sit and shake hands and am very low-maintenance. I would be a great companion for an elderly person/couple or for a family with older children. I honestly have no bad habits, am very healthy with a pretty, shiny coat that doesn't shed. I'm VERY good on a leash and love to go for walks. I just want to be loved and to make someone happy. I LOVE to play ball and would enjoy having a big kid to play with me!! I get along well with cats, dogs, kids and other people. I love to take walks and am learning to heel and stay. My name is "Freda"!! “I am a wonderful and lively young girl. I think I might be a smooth-coat Border Collie!! I was found wandering the streets of Norman and a kind person rescued me and brought me to Blue HAWK. My foster mom says that I have never met anyone or anything I didn’t like. I love to play with the other dogs that live in my foster home and I don’t bother the kitties who live there at all. I went to my first agility lesson this week and everyone said that I'm a natural!! I am great on a leash and am learning to sit and heel. I would be happiest in a home with another dog since playing is my favorite activity. My foster mom says I am really smart and easy going and would make a great addition to any home! "FREDA" |

My name is "Pookie" and my story is very sad!! Unfortunately, it's also very common. You see, after giving my People Parents years of love and loyalty, they bought a new house and decided I was no longer welcome. I still don't understand what's happening and I whimper every night when I go to bed. I can't turn off the love I feel for them! But I need to move on and find a family that will welcome me into their home with open arms and lots of hugs! Blue HAWK saved me from going to the Dog Pound, where I no doubt would have been "put down" by now!! I don't understand what I did wrong! "POOKIE" |

"Rex" is my name. I am approximately 2 years old. I get along GREAT with all adults, but I've never been around children, so I can't be in a home with kids. They scare me a little! Our names are "Casey" and "Yogi"!! We only got to see our mom for about 5 minutes before we became orphans! But we were very lucky because a special person named Terri took us into her home and bottle-fed us and taught us good manners. We are lab-rottie mixes with a dash of Sharpei and we are playful, VERY affectionate, and active puppies. "CASEY & YOGI" |

I'm fostered with some nice people in Noble right now and with my buddy, "Rex". I would love a loving, patient, understanding home of my own, though. I'm "Precious", (Adoption Pending!!) can you tell why? I just love this big chewie bone! I'm the last of a litter of four lab/shepard mixes. All my brothers and sisters have already been adopted. Won't you adopt me? I'm a female, approximately 10 months old and would love to go home with you. |
| I'm "Bernie" and I must have belonged to someone out in Slaughtersville because I just showed up at Blue HAWK Farms one day and would not leave. The neighbors who say they don't like dogs or Blue HAWK or whatever were about to shoot me cause I was running loose, so Blue HAWK had me neutered and put me in with some of the guys who used to be escape artists. Now I'm no longer in harms way, but would like to be back with people and a family with other dogs to play with. I'm 2-4 years old and we think I'm mostly short-haired St. Bernard. I'm about 85 lbs. |
 | Well, can you guess how I got the name "Buckshot"??? The deputy sheriff's department told a man out in Slaughtersville to call Sara when he heard a shotgun go off, and saw me fall to the ground against a tree, next to a 20 ft. drop off. When Sara arrived I was laying in a pool of blood half-dead. Dr. Cline spent many hours shaving and removing all of the bullets from my private parts and legs. Then after that, the neighbors in Slaughtersville tried to poison me twice, but thank God for Dr. Howell, who came to the rescue both times with an anecdote. He also saved the Blue HAWK farm's caretaker's German Shepherd, Kasha, who was poisoned and stolen the week before that. It's a rough country out there!!! I'm a neutered male, mostly Red Heeler, lots of fun, get along with most dogs (unless they growl first, then I have to hold my ground). |

Our names are, "Buddy" (left) and "Simba" (right.) I, "Buddy", am about 4 and love all people, but should never be around cats and some other dogs really irritate me. I love my roommates, though. We play and play and play. I'm a neutered male Dalmation, very strong, and very loving, and especially love men. I need a strong fence to jump against when I see a squirrel, and hopefully one of my buddies to play with. I, "Simba", am also about 4 and neutered male. I love all adults and teenagers, but not little bitty kids. Some mean little boys didn't treat me right as a puppy and I never got over it. I would love to sleep with you by your side. I'm house broken, but have some leaving anxieties. I would be such a good country companion dog. I could be trained to do anything. |

My name is "Sheba". Sara calls me circus dog. I can jump really high. I think I am mostly Blue Heeler. I'm a young adult, spayed, looking for lots of room to run and play. I love people. |

I'm "Stubby". Can you guess why? My roomate is "Sheba". I'm fun and playful, and a little shy. I'm a neutered young adult, lab mix, and the brother of "Happy" and "Little Debbie". We are another litter dumped out in Slaughtersville, happy to be alive but would really love a home of our own. |

We are two dogs who have a sad story. For most of our lives, we've been together living happily with our mom. Unfortunately, she is very elderly and has had to move out of state for her care. Now, we're without a home and want to spend the rest of our retirement years together. Our names are "Tippie" and "Buffy"(right)(Buffy crossed over the RAINBOW BRIDGE) and our ages range from 10 to 14 years. We need a good home who loves the predictability and comfort of senior dogs. Of course, we're housetrained, won't chew on your shoes (like puppies will!) and we just love to hang out with our people. If you can foster or adopt us please email Sara. |
